Vox
Vox is an annual encrypted workplace reporting channel for UK employers with 50 to 499 people, and for HR consultants who advise them. Workers report without an account, can exclude a named handler before sending, and data stays in the UK. A subscription is a channel; it does not make an employer compliant.
Inbox
How it works
A reporting page, a poster, and an inbox handlers can use the same day.
Add the organisation, invite handlers, and choose a link.
Print a QR poster, or paste a paragraph into the handbook.
Anyone can report from a phone, and exclude a handler first.
The reporter comes back with a case key. No login.
Conversation
A case key is how the reporter comes back. The question is encrypted to that key. Vox stores ciphertext, and the server never holds the key.
James Turner is excluded. An admin cannot put him back on the case.
Conflicts
Before sending, they see the named handlers and can exclude anyone. An excluded person cannot open the case, and a report with nobody left to read it is not accepted.
Product
Enough to understand a case in a minute.
Acknowledge within 7 days and respond within 90, unless you change the defaults.
Every staff action is hash-chained. The log records who did what, not the report itself.
Internal notes stay with the case, and only people allowed on it can read them.
Security
Reports are encrypted in the browser. Vox stores ciphertext and does not hold the keys that can read it. Full detail: security hub · encryption guide.
A case key, shown once. Save it somewhere safe.
This is the only way back to the report. The server stores a hash of the key, not the key itself.
People speak up when the route does not go through the person they are reporting.
